He has done the first Laparoscopic gynaecological laparoscopic surgery in the year 1996. His first case was a Laparascopic Assisted Vaginal Hysterectory (LAVH). The case was a resounding success. Following that he has done many more LAVH till 2004.
He has switched over to Total Laparoscopic Hysterectory after that with intracorporeal knot tying.
During the year 1998 he had done the first Laparoscopic myomectomy with extracorporeal knot tying of the incised uterus. The myoma was taken out through an incision of the pouch of docylas. Subsequently, he procured a morcellator which helped in taking out the myoma easily.
He had also done many Ovarian Cystectomy, Ovariotomy, Laparoscopic tuboplasty and Adhesiolysis.

• Myomectomy – 25 cases

JJM first batch of IVF were of 5 cases of which 1 case was a successful pregnancy and take home.
They have done innumerable inva – uterine insemination of which successful pregnancy and take home baby is 20%.
He is also a sonologist with special interest in fetal medicine.
His speciality is to guide the obstetrician to prevent and predict hypertension in pregnancy and timing of delivery.
